Persian Gulf International Airport, Asaluyeh
Construction of Persian Gulf International Airport started in June 2003 and ended in 2006. After Imam Khomeini International Airport, this airport is the most equipped one reached the world standards. Persian Gulf International Airport is now capable of handling more than one million passengers per year and has an approximate area of 700 hectares.
The airport is now cooperating with 5 Domestic Airlines and has over ten flight paths to Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Ahvaz, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Rasht, Sari and Arak.
