Yazd International Airport
Shahid Sadooghi Yazd airport was founded at the southern edge of the central desert of Iran in 1348. Yazd airport is currently the tenth in the country in terms of airport passenger traffic and nearly 400,000 passengers annually by 3500 takeoffs and landings use its services. Yazd airport is the origin and destination of cities such as Tehran, Mashhad, Ahwaz, Kish and Bandar Abbas for domestic flights and the cities of Damascus, Jeddah, Najaf, Baghdad and Medina for international flights. Passenger transportation in these directions take place approximately by 10 domestic and foreign airlines.Ata, IranAir, Taban, Naft and Kish Air airlines are operating in this airport.
